ProtonEMR is a full-featured Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and clinic management system built for Bangladesh's healthcare ecosystem. It supports desktop and mobile browsers as a Progressive Web App (PWA).
ProtonEMR হলো একটি সম্পূর্ণ ইলেকট্রনিক মেডিকেল রেকর্ড (EMR) এবং ক্লিনিক ম্যানেজমেন্ট সিস্টেম। এটি ডেস্কটপ ও মোবাইল উভয় ডিভাইসে PWA হিসেবে কাজ করে।

New doctors can register directly from the registration page. After registration, an admin approves the account before first login.

The dashboard is your command center. It shows today's appointments, quick patient add, pending actions, and a setup progress card for new accounts.

ProtonEMR maintains a complete patient registry. Each patient gets a unique UUID and optional QR barcode for instant identification.

Search patients by name, mobile number, or UUID. Use the top search bar or the barcode scanner (Ctrl+Q) for instant lookup.

Patient Profile · রোগীর প্রোফাইল
The patient profile shows all past prescriptions in a timeline, vitals from today's appointment, uploaded files, and appointment history. You can also export patient data or send bulk SMS.
রোগীর প্রোফাইলে সমস্ত পূর্ববর্তী প্রেসক্রিপশন, ভাইটাল, ফাইল ও অ্যাপয়েন্টমেন্টের ইতিহাস দেখা যাবে।
The prescription form is the heart of ProtonEMR. It is divided into clearly labelled sections. You can use groups and templates to fill entire sections in one click.
প্রেসক্রিপশন ফর্ম হলো ProtonEMR-এর মূল অংশ। এটি বিভিন্ন সেকশনে বিভক্ত। গ্রুপ ও টেমপ্লেট ব্যবহার করে এক ক্লিকে সম্পূর্ণ সেকশন পূরণ করা যায়।
Prescription Sections · প্রেসক্রিপশনের সেকশনসমূহ
1. Chief Complaints (CC) · প্রধান অভিযোগ
Enter the patient's main complaints. Start typing and select from your master complaint list or type freely. Frequently used complaints appear at the top.
রোগীর প্রধান সমস্যা লিখুন। টাইপ করলে মাস্টার লিস্ট থেকে সাজেশন আসবে। ঘন ঘন ব্যবহৃত অভিযোগ উপরে দেখাবে।
2. History · ইতিহাস
Record past medical history — DM, HTN, IHD, asthma, surgical history, drug history, family history, menstrual history, etc. Supports all history types with color-coded chips.
ডায়াবেটিস, উচ্চ রক্তচাপ, অস্ত্রোপচার ইতিহাস, ওষুধের ইতিহাস সহ সকল ধরনের ইতিহাস লিপিবদ্ধ করুন।
3. On Examination (O/E) · পরীক্ষার ফলাফল
Record examination findings including vitals (BP, pulse, temp, SpO₂, RBS), general examination, and specialty-specific findings (e.g. Neurology section).
রক্তচাপ, নাড়ির স্পন্দন, তাপমাত্রা, SpO₂, RBS সহ সকল পরীক্ষার ফলাফল লিখুন।
4. Diagnosis · রোগ নির্ণয়
Add provisional or confirmed diagnoses. Select from your master diagnosis list or enter free text. Frequent diagnoses are suggested first.
রোগ নির্ণয় লিখুন। মাস্টার লিস্ট থেকে দ্রুত নির্বাচন করুন।
5. Medicines (Rx) · ওষুধ
Search medicines from your master medicine database. For each medicine, enter dose, frequency (times/day), and duration. The system checks for drug interactions automatically.
ওষুধ খুঁজুন ও ডোজ, ফ্রিকোয়েন্সি, মেয়াদ লিখুন। সিস্টেম স্বয়ংক্রিয়ভাবে ড্রাগ ইন্টারেকশন চেক করবে।
6. Investigations · পরীক্ষা-নিরীক্ষা
Order lab tests and investigations. Select from your master investigation list. Frequently ordered tests appear first.
ল্যাব টেস্ট ও পরীক্ষা-নিরীক্ষার আদেশ দিন। মাস্টার লিস্ট থেকে দ্রুত নির্বাচন করুন।
7. Advice · পরামর্শ
Add lifestyle advice, dietary instructions, and follow-up notes to the prescription.
জীবনযাপনের পরামর্শ, খাদ্যাভ্যাস নির্দেশনা ও ফলো-আপের নোট যোগ করুন।
8. Special Note · বিশেষ নোট
Add any custom notes visible on the printed prescription.
প্রিন্টে দেখানোর জন্য যেকোনো বিশেষ নোট যোগ করুন।
9. Referral · রেফারেল
Refer the patient to another doctor or institution. Select from your referral database and include a referral note.
রোগীকে অন্য ডাক্তার বা হাসপাতালে রেফার করুন। রেফারেল ডেটাবেস থেকে নির্বাচন করুন।
10. Rx Groups · গ্রুপ ব্যবহার
Groups let you fill multiple sections at once. For example, a "Hypertension" group may contain medicines + investigations + advice. Click Apply to insert all items instantly.
গ্রুপ দিয়ে একসাথে একাধিক সেকশন পূরণ করুন। "উচ্চ রক্তচাপ" গ্রুপে ওষুধ + টেস্ট + পরামর্শ — সব একসাথে যোগ হবে।
Saving & Printing · সংরক্ষণ ও প্রিন্ট
Click Save to finalize the prescription. The system generates a printable prescription with the chamber's letterhead layout, logo, and doctor's signature. A unique QR code is printed for online verification.
সংরক্ষণ করলে চেম্বারের লেটারহেড, লোগো ও ডাক্তারের স্বাক্ষর সহ প্রেসক্রিপশন প্রিন্ট হবে। QR কোড দিয়ে অনলাইনে যাচাই করা যাবে।
Duplicate Prescription · প্রেসক্রিপশন কপি
Open any past prescription and click Duplicate to create a new prescription pre-filled with the same medicines and advice — perfect for follow-up visits.

Quick Rx lets you write a prescription without creating a full patient profile — ideal for emergency or one-time patients. Access it from the top navigation bar.

The appointments module manages daily patient schedules. Patients can be booked into specific time slots, and automated SMS reminders can be sent before their visit.

Bulk SMS · বাল্ক SMS
Select multiple patients and send them a reminder SMS in one action. SMS balance is shown in real time. Custom SMS templates can be set per chamber.

A doctor can manage multiple chambers (clinic locations). Each chamber has its own prescription layout, time slots, and SMS configuration.

Generate a unique display token for the chamber. Open the display URL on a waiting-room monitor — it shows the current patient token number updated in real time via WebSocket.

ProtonEMR supports live video consultations via WebRTC. The doctor starts a session, and the patient joins via a shared link — no app install required.

The Master Database is your personal library of medical data. Everything you add here becomes available in prescription autocomplete. The more you populate it, the faster your prescription writing becomes.

Medicine Database · ওষুধ ডেটাবেস
Your medicine database is the most important part of the master database. You can bulk-import medicines, set dose presets per medicine, and manage generic names, dosage forms, and manufacturers.
ওষুধ ডেটাবেস সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অংশ। বাল্ক ইম্পোর্ট, ডোজ প্রিসেট, জেনেরিক নাম ও ডোজেজ ফর্ম পরিচালনা করুন।
Medicine Dose Presets · ডোজ প্রিসেট
Medicine presets let you create common dose shortcuts. Four types: Dosage (e.g. "1+0+1"), Duration (e.g. "7 days"), Frequency (e.g. "Twice daily"), Instruction (e.g. "After meal"). Drag to reorder.
চার ধরনের প্রিসেট: ডোজেজ, মেয়াদ, ফ্রিকোয়েন্সি ও নির্দেশনা। টেনে ক্রম পরিবর্তন করুন।
Groups are pre-configured bundles of medical items. When applied in a prescription, all items in the group are inserted simultaneously. Create groups for common clinical scenarios like "Hypertension", "URTI", "Diabetes follow-up", etc.
গ্রুপ হলো পূর্ব-কনফিগার করা মেডিকেল আইটেমের সেট। প্রেসক্রিপশনে প্রয়োগ করলে সব আইটেম একসাথে যোগ হয়। "উচ্চ রক্তচাপ", "সর্দি-জ্বর", "ডায়াবেটিস ফলো-আপ" এর মতো গ্রুপ তৈরি করুন।

Templates let you save complete or partial prescriptions for reuse. Four template types are available, each with its own management interface.

ProtonEMR runs on a subscription model. View your current plan, remaining days, and renew from the Subscription page. The system warns 2 days before expiry and blocks access at 0 days.

Managing Assistants · সহকারী পরিচালনা
Add assistants from the Assistants page. Each assistant gets their own login credentials. The doctor controls which features the assistant can access via permission settings.

ProtonEMR supports Time-based One-Time Password (TOTP) two-factor authentication using Google Authenticator or any compatible authenticator app. When enabled, every login requires both your password and a 6-digit code from your phone — so even if your password is stolen, your account stays protected.
আপনার ProtonEMR অ্যাকাউন্টের নিরাপত্তা আরও শক্তিশালী করতে আমরা Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) ফিচার চালু করেছি। 2FA চালু থাকলে পাসওয়ার্ড চুরি হলেও কেউ আপনার অ্যাকাউন্টে প্রবেশ করতে পারবে না।

You can disable 2FA at any time from the 2FA Settings page by entering your account password to confirm.

Assistants have a dedicated portal optimized for reception tasks. They can manage appointments, register patients, create invoices, and assist with prescription data entry — based on the permissions granted by the doctor.

Upload and manage patient files — lab reports, X-rays, prescriptions, and other documents. Files are linked to individual patient profiles and can be accessed from the patient profile page.
রোগীর ল্যাব রিপোর্ট, X-ray, প্রেসক্রিপশন ও অন্যান্য ডকুমেন্ট আপলোড ও পরিচালনা করুন। ফাইলগুলো রোগীর প্রোফাইলের সাথে সংযুক্ত থাকে।
Submit support tickets directly from within ProtonEMR. The support team responds within the ticket thread. Unread replies trigger a pulsing badge on the Apps menu icon.
